Why all the drama?

Comments

I DESPISE work drama and the actions of adults who emulate those of petulant children! that was EXTREMELY unprofessional! And good on you for keeping your cool!

I had left a message on your other blog about this but somehow it got lost in the blogasphere 'cause I don't see it - but just wanted to reiterate- you MUST do what is best for you and it sounds to me like you have been completely upfront and professional.

I have some issues with co-workers on just a couple of my shifts- they are petulant, spoiled, naracisstic and I call them the "evil sisters"...

Damn, girl...

Sounds like you work on a SOAP OPERA !

Selkie, I can understand the teenagers I work with acting like this, but not the adult managers. I guess I could look at the bright side and say they at least feel comfortable enough to argue with me.....much like siblings in a family!
Cam, if only I was paid like the actors in a soap opera.....I get all this drama at $7.75 an hour! I was so mad yesterday that if I didn't need this job so badly and there where others out there to be had.....I would have walked out and left my whinny supervisor to deal with the mess she made!

I just don't understand the lack of communication amongst the higher level peeps...

Pathetic !

It really is like a soap opera there. It's bad of me that I look forward to the craziness that will happen next, huh?
She's just freaking because now she has to rearrange the schedule. I'm glad you stuck up for yourself..

Lol, all this must be made in a TV series. All this oh look i am a drama-queen by the supervisor and that other manager definetly will bring many viewers.

I guess it all started with the store manager not letting a notice for the supervisor who got pissed by decisions made over her head that brought her more work.

Anyway, have fun in the pharmacy. Who knows, maybe dragonlady is so glad she has you as an employer she might hire you full time. I will cross my fingers and toes for you.

LMC, I sympathize with you. I've been fortunate to not have a lot of work-related drama with my jobs, but my wife has had her share in some of hers.

It's not a fun thing.

But... from what you've posted, it does sound like you handled yourself well, and remained professional in your conversations with the people involved.

Typical crap !! Just keep handle of the situations, sounds like you're doing a great job. Take deep, slow breaths. lol !!
What an f'in bitch!

Doesn't she understand that you're trying to work for a living and you're not working just to get out of the house out of boredom? She should understand that you have to follow the money and that you're not doing it just to spite her. She needs to get it through her thick skull that IT'S NOT ABOUT HER!
